Sad news that. With all the money washing around football, it's incredible to read about footballers having to sell their homes to fund future care.

He was a good player, he and Kevin Randall were a formidable strike force

Very sad when anybody has to sell their house to go into care and allow the care home owner to get rich. I dont know what the answer is sometimes people need help and the government shouldnt pay so selling the family house is possibly the only answer or perhaps the charges for this service are too high.
