This week we have mostly had at work: Billy Bragg / Coldplay / Lucky Jim. Once the boss gets a new CD, he really - I mean REALLY - plays them over and over again. We've got another three weeks of hearing those CDs at least 6 times a week to come yet.

At home, I have been mostly playing 'Gymnopedies I' by Erik Satie. Very mellow. Either that or 'Indian Ropeman' (on vinyl) by Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger & The Trinity gets a good spanking.

In the car, I tend to sing along to 'Wives & Lovers' by Jack Jones, which is followed by 'Macarthur Park' by Richard Harris.

Sun Kil Moon - "Ghosts of the Great Highway".
New solo effort from Mark Kozelek of Red House Painters fame. (Perhaps the word "fame" is pushing it but it's breathtakingly beautiful music.)
One for the lovers not the fighters.
