Hate to admit it but he's right, Palace version is way better!!!

If only we can come up with a better version and sing as loud and in unison.

Their version isn't better, the words are shit. It's stolen word for word from a club whose first language isn't English, so sounds like one of those euro-cheese dance tracks where the words don't make sense.

The difference is more of them join in

Said it before but I'll say it again. It needs people who want to slow singing down, particularly GOSBTS, to gather around a talisman, somebody everyone recognises, such as Jack Straw as a possible example (with your permission, Mr Straw), at the same game and sing it at the right pace. Bristol City would have been the perfect opportunity, with unreserved seating. If enough people get it going at the right speed, all the kids who sing it at 300mph will have finished half way through the second bloody line, leaving it being heard at the right tempo from those still singing it.

a drummer?

I hope Palace fans sing that song as per the video next Tuesday, it would sound awesome, maybe our lot might learn from it.

One if you ULTRAS people needs to stand at the front and lead the chanting, as can be seen at many Italian games. One or two guys actually lead the chanting. Do this and don't give up and spread the word to follow his lead and it might work.

Shame there are so many CHUMPS who get GIDDY at getting to the LOUD bits of the songs.

Absolutely this. Their lyrics are abysmal, whereas ours (especially the amended lyrics suggested here) are really good as they relate to the club and the county. We just need to sing it.

One week to go , start practising now and it will sound natural once it is memorised and sung at the correct speed

In that video,Palace do sing it better, nothing to do with the words but the fact its sung at a decent speed.

listen carefully, they've got a drum, you wont hear it on first two verses as fans are to loud, but on third verse, you can hear it........ the Holmesdale fanatics want to bring their drum to the Amex.

Anyone with contacts want to sort out getting their drum banned!

Not the real one
New lyrics sound good and I'll join in from the WSL. I think someone leading the chanting and slowing it down in the North will control the speed and get even more involved.
Remember the Chelsea fan in the North Stand at the Goldstone, on the first fans united day? He stood up on the terrace bars and got the Whole North singing in unison, it was fantastic!! Someone charismatic and confident needed.
Any Takers?? Let's do this!!!

This is how good "we are Brighton" could sound, but unfortunately in the time it takes the Reds to go through it once, Brighton fans would be starting it for the 4th time...

Now that sounds fantastic. This would stop the bloody scousers sing Your Never Walk Alone.
