Replacement bus service Three Bridges to Lewes and Brighton is not an enhanced service other than in the mind of Chris Grayling

I must admit when the line is closed north of Lewes the service between Eastbourne and Falmer is actually much better than when the line is open as you get more frequent trains running along the coast. This is of course no consolation to those having to go by bus.

It means that daft timetable we had for the Derby game.
3 trains in 10 mins, then a 20 min gap!
Trains from Brighton at 01, 05, 11, 31, 35, 41 to Falmer.
Some of these will go from Platform 6 as well.

I always assume that "enhanced service" meant that the trains running between Lewes and Falmer were longer (8 car instead of 4) on matchdays as the basic Mon-Sat off peak service between those two stations is already 6 per hour each way whether or not the Albion are at home.

Is there a more depressing three-word phrase than 'Replacement Bus Service'?

Looks like the same for the Southampton game also.:(:(
