Maybe that's because he IS a world class and just because he didn't play brilliantly in English football doesn't mean he isn't. There are other leagues with a good standard of football you do realise?

You don't see what I'm saying.

The majority of English players play much better for their club. The likes of Gerrard, Rooney, Lampard nearly always deliver for their club.

Whereas other equally world class players from other countries seem to step UP for thier clubs. Robinho was purely an example.


My response was to those that immediately say our players are not good enough.
Not good enough for what? To beat Algeria and USA? Yes they certainly are.


Good enough players to win the world cup? Going on club form, I think they are good enough for that too.

People worry about our lack of quality in the team other than the big names. These are filled up with top premiership players. The likes of Joe Cole, Milner, G.Johnson, Barry would get into most of the teams in the world cup.
