Pretty much spot on. Maybe a 5 for Milner. 1 for Rooney is pretty generous

Interesting how Cole got rated better than Barry considering Capello only let him out of his cage for about 30 minutes! :lolol:

5 is an average rating. Cole did nothing wrong, few promising runs, so he deserves that.

BARRY on the other hand, was very, very poor today and had a pivotal part to play in the third and fourth goals.

James - 6 - solid first 2 games, poor for at least 2 of the goals today
Green - 0 - one thing to do, and he fluffed it.
King - 1 - a cripple who should never have gone
Carragher - 2 - didn't want to play for us, shouldn't have played
Cole - 3 - did f*** all despite the claims he's the "worlds best left back" - is he bollocks
Terry - 4 - fine until today, where he was Hawkins-esque
Upson - 4 - scored, which is more than most of the jokers. Shit today though. Really shit.
Johnson - 4 - can't cross, can't defend.
Milner - 6 - shouldn't have played when ill. Good otherwise
Lennon - 1 - can't cross. Turd.
Wright-Phillips - 1 - ditto
Gerrard - 5 - looked interested - crap though
Fat Frank - 3 - anonymous until his 2 long range efforts today. In fairness the ref raped him of a goal.
Cole - 4 - didn't do anything in either of his short opportunities
Barry - 3 - out of his depth
Rooney - 2 - didn't turn up in the first 2 games. Too little, too late. Will still take the blame from the fickle press that bigged him up as the worlds best when he plainly isn't though.
Heskey - 2 - the only reason he played was because he "brings the best out of Rooney". He didn't.
Defoe - 6 - our best striker.
Crouch - 1 - Capello has been a massive twat there, our most prolific goalscorer left out. Joke.
Capello - 1 - including defoe and Milner against Slovenia was the ONLY thing he got right.

James 6 - partially at fault for the first goal, but other than that made some good saves.
Cole 7 - had a decent game, covered his area at the back and good going forward.
Terry 4 - the partnership with Upson certainly didn't work.
Upson 4 - extremely poor but scored the goal so haven't given him a lower rating.
Johnson 5 - ordinary performance.
Gerrard 5 - poor shooting, lack of leadership. Once again Gerrad has let his country down.
Lampard 6 - probably his best game of the tournament, scored one legitimate goal and unlucky not to score more.
Milner 5 - average game.
Barry 4 - hate to say this about my favourite player in the team and a Sussex lad, but he wasn't his usual self.
Rooney 3 - another bad game, I am beginning to hate this prick. Only in the team because of his reputation, but has been a waste of space for the whole tournament. What's the bet that this fat ugly f*** will find his form again for Man Utd, but let's his country down.
Defoe 6 - our best striker, shouldn't have been subbed, that fat ugly f*** above should've been.!

Ratings.

James: 7 - Should have played the first game, clearly our best keeper from the choices we had available. One of the few players to a come out of the tournament with any credit
Green: 2 - His error against the USA has proved extremely costly, we would probably have topped the group and had an easier draw

Cole: 6 - A decent tournament, but does he & Johnson go forward too much, leaving us exposed to a quick counter attack?
Terry: 5 - Poor match against Germany, caught out of position too many times - could be down to playing with 3 different centre backs during our games
Upson: 4.5 - Apart from a great saving tackle against Slovenia, he looked a bit slow and was unable to dominate against attacks
Carragher: 2 - His frightening lack of pace was exposed, out of his depth
King: 4 - wasn't fit and should never have been taken in the squad, but who else was there?
Johnson: 5 - Looked decent enough going forward but like Cole, did he go forward too much leaving us exposed?

SWP: 2 - no end product, didn't get past players and crossing was poor
Lennon: 3 - no dangerous crosses or runs. - disappointing
Gerrard: 5 - good goal 1st game but when asked to play on the left of midfield, he kept coming infield, often when we looked to play the ball back out wide, there wasn't the option as he was awol - and it left space for the opposition to attack us. He should have played centrally.
Lampard: 5 - did alright without being specatular, steady
Milner: 6 - Some dangerous crosses, one of our better players
Barry: 3 - surprised how poor he was, especially against the Germans, he was there as a defensive midfielder, yet was never sat in front of the defense breaking up attacks.
Cole: 4 - Not given much time on the pitch, didn't do much to impress when on

Rooney: 4 - worked hard but often crowded out and looked frustrated
Heskey: 4.5 - great first game but his lack of pace and goal threat told
Defoe: 5.5 - offered more than Heskey and got an important goal in the group stages.
Crouch: 4.5 - Not much pitch time to impress
