Still no deal has been struck with Setanta for highlights of the Andorra and Croatia games to be shown on terrestrial TV.
The only way to see it at the moment is live on Setanta and how many subscribers have they got, not many.
It's a disgrace that such important games are available to so few people.

If people aren't losing interest already due to the indifference of players and their clubs towards England then not being able to see them at all should do the job nicely.

Brian Barwick's "strong legacy" is virtually no England games (and less domestic games, FA Cup) on free to air television.

Well done Brian. :shootself

I am unable to check at work due to the filter, but does anyone know if I can get Sentana through my system? I have a Sky dish and box, but only have the free channels. Which means I do not pay a monthly fee to sky.

I can get Setanta Sport through the integrated digital tuner on my HDD DVD recorder but in order to subscribe I would have to buy a Conditional Access Module for £29.99 on top of the monthly subscription so not really worth it no!

I agree - same with England cricket. We win the Ashes, get the whole country excited about the game, particularly the kids, and what happens? Everything goes to Sky. FA and ECB both the same.

how do setanta afford it ?? they haven't got that many subscribers

They can't, apparently. They need to get a load more subscribers but the end of next year apparently or else there in serious trouble
