Pakistan should provide a sterner test next week. SL in transition, but even so they have been ridiculously weak in the batting dept. A lot of work to do there.
Completely meaningless series: I genuinely don't understand the point of this. England may as well be playing the Dog and Duck Second XI and how does it help the development of SL cricket seeing them get thrashed. England haven't used the opportunity to give some new caps a game.

I can't fathom why England have called up George Garton and then not played him in any of these games.
England have coasted through this series against a pretty poor Sri Lankan team, so you'd have thought it would be a chance to blood him, but no, he's not featured.
Sussex could have done with him in t20 and 4 day cricket, given the long list of absentees.
