Blimey this is painful 138-6 at Tea.

England will probably get to a 300 lead which should be enough but Amla hasn't done anything in this series as yet so what's the odds on a Double Century from him?

Must be difficult batting as Bairstow has faced 23 balls and not yet scored a run.

It's not an easy batting wicket.. massive rough at one end outside the LH off stump and plenty for the pace bowlers off the pitch including some uneven bounce. Hard wicket to play on.

Done & dusted for the day, 360 lead is too much for the Saffers, Moeen Ali could even push the lead up to 400 tomorrow. Only the rain will save them.

What will be the plan tomorrow? I would think to bat for an hour or if still there until lunch to get some more runs then get set into bowling them out having set them a virtually impossible target.

Carry on batting until we are all out...we don't have to win....it's up to the saffies to chase!

Moeen Ali has put us in a position from which we should win and most defiantly not lose. Well done to him.

It was Bairstow that did that.

Just bat until we are all out, and go for boundaries. SA would have to bat unbelievably to get a result on this wicket.

Ali will have a field day the foot holes are sending the ball all over the shop.
