Cricket is an odd game, when in many instances the result is strongly influenced by the toss of a coin.

You still have to perform, agreed, but Lady Luck has a major impact.

I don't think there should be a toss- except in the last match of an uneven rubber. Need to try and fine a way of evening up the choice.

Knowing who bats first before team selection does not work either. Maybe have a set toss, such as heads England first, tails India.

India playing 2 spinners may even this toss out come Monday...and it might not, of course.
