Much as they used to regularly muller us, it's a sad time when you've never even heard of half the West Indies team. It would be good for cricket to see a strong WI side again (after this series, of course).

Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard are still at the IPL.

I hadn't really appreciated how bad this Windies team were - read a bit of the build-up but kind of assumed they were being downplayed. Then listened to the TMS podcast from yesterday and everyone was saying how well Windies had done to bat out the day and get 240, even Otis Gibson the Windies coach. Just shows how low their expectations actually are I suppose.

They showed their record since 2004 on the telly and they have only won about 7 test matches, I think it was something like 2 away. They miss the big names all at the ipl, however 2 or 3 of the youngsters look very promising

They're talking about this on TMS.

If Stuart Broad's next ball is a wicket, it is indeed a hat-trick. Even if he doesn't bowl in the next innings, and takes it in the next match, it's still a hat-trick.

His first ball of the next innings, definitely counts.

In a different match though? No, sorry, I'm not having that.

Shows what a shambles test cricket is in, how much is it to go and watch this £50 or £60 to watch a poor England bully an abysmal West Indies.
