Are we playing in white tonight? So far, three quarter finals - White v Red. White have won all of them.

I have a feeling tonight could be a tough watch. Perversely, I think not playing at Wembley tonight could be an advantage, patience will be key.

I’m not expecting England to come flying out of the blocks. Ukraine have had to overcome an attritional 120 (more like 130) minutes against Sweden to get this far, and they will be wary of our defensive record so far - going behind against this England side is a tough place to come back from. I can’t see Ukraine having the energy to press high up the pitch, so they will defend deep, deep, deep. We’ve absolutely got the quality to pick that lock, but I’m not expecting it to come quickly or easily.

We’ll get through this, but people shouldn’t be despondent if it it isn’t a classic. It takes two to tango and Ukraine, who are no mugs if not exactly world beaters, won’t want that.

Cody & Mings on the subs bench!
They couldn't lace Ben's boots.......

Hope they don't have to use them......mind you I have doubts about McGuire and Stones as well..... four centre half players each with suspect blemishes....

The player to unlock Ukraine defence,as much as I don't like him very much, is sitting on the bench and he is reasonably fresh.
Makes no sense to me as he has proved he is bang on form and seems to be the only player capable of supplying the ball that Kane requires to score.
I do agree that he has been a great impact sub and he will certainly play that part again but I feel that if we can score early on it will draw Ukraine out and also be difficult for them to get back in the game.
I would have started Grealish and go all in for an early goal, the longer this game goes on at 0-0 will turn it into a defensive dirge and possibly play into there hands.

I’d have dropped Kane for him, now watch Kane score a hat trick. Not holding my breath though, the lazy cheat.

So Denmark await

Although it shows up how bias this tournament is

1 semi is played in the heat 6 hours away from London and the other in Italy.

Ridiculous.

Just thinking the same, apart from the goal i have been very unimpressed with Kane so far, the goal was put on a plate for him, I would not be surprised if Kane vanishes again but if course i hope I am wrong.
The reason I said what I did was because he was not going to be dropped and is indeed playing.
But what do you do, if he is crap again do you keep him on hoping he will score as he did last time, or, as most of us wanted last time, sub him off.
Tricky stuff, we shall see now anyway.

VAR to send off Harry Kane for doing the Harry Kane move.
Pundits to explode.
Sweeping grealish Sancho Bellingham move to nick a winner in extra time (Bellingham is not getting on until enough players have to go off with cramp)

I’m not so sure. Ukraine will tire as the game goes on - Grealish is absolutely perfect to bring on to finish things in the closing stages.

You wait and see…
