Sri Lanka bowling well, Bairstow gone...

England will probably still win but Vaughn has had an attitude all evening that this is a walk in the park.
Sri Lanka in transistion and not very good at the moment which is a shame for a great limited over country.
But I hope they win this match and stuff it down the throats of Vaughn and all the other smug gits.

Does that include the travel costs to get to the golf course near Southampton where they're playing?

I've got used to T20. I know it's a lifeblood, a cash cow. Annoying necessity. I watch the counties. I've never watched the IPL. Although I understand why players go.

But the 100 thing is a step too far for me.

Hoping to get to Southampton for Sussex v Hants next month if tickets allow. Mainly cos I've only been to the old ground.

Yes, it's a shame to see them struggle. They lost a lot of players in a short time.

I just think that some respect is due, what they have done in the past considering they are a small country, Civil war, Tsunami, third world etc.
They may be poor and in transition but when they were world beaters they never gave it the billy big bollox like Australia and South Africa.
A proud cricketing country who will always fight and try to entertain.
Give them 50 runs extra and bring in Ireland is totally disrespectful, a short while ago England were very poor too and SL were imperious.
Same goes for NZ too.
England will still win this though but I hope SL are back to their best soon.

1996 was quite something. I was living in Australia at the time and watched them smash England one hot night in Alice Springs. Utter destruction.

I'm old enough to remember their first Test match. They were in that for a while. Good old days of TMS. Up before dawn then off on the paper round. Cricket was my religion then.

I like T20 insofar as it's a quick bit of fun, and the athleticism of the fielders really is admirable.

I've not forgiven Hampshire for Bransgove arguing Durham should be relegated and docked points and subject to financial punishment, when that conveniently meant Hampshire stayed up (if anything Kent should have been promoted, since they'd done well in division 2, rather than repreiving Hampshire for being crap). If they want my money they'll have to mug me for it.

That aside, hope you have a good evening

The bloke in the stat cave makes me look like George Clooney.
Crikey,I would wear a syrup.

I was thinking that I would go full skinhead myself if I was him.

What a farce it is. It’s raining, the game will finish in 30 minutes just get on with it ffs, it’s not like it’s the first session of day 1 in a test

It’s a horrible bastardisation of the game of cricket.
