And off again, just because Murali can't bat and nearly got hit on his CHEATING fingers.

That's not very clever by Flintoff; umpires consult about the light so he takes off his slower bowler, put himself on and then bowls a short one.

Completely bone-headed.

How bad is the bad light? Is this it for the day? At work so clueless, but would have thought Panesar should have bowled to Murali.

I think they'll agree on the draw now. England players all look very light hearted, maybe they should stop playing to the cameras and practice some bloody catching.

Seeing as there's only going to be one outcome to the match, I don't see that it really matters.

I don't know about that; at the time England were 167 behind with 35 over left, one more wicket and that's easily gettable.

Now, having gone off for light and lost six more overs, it's going to be a draw.

You have to blame the captain, we needed more variation, you have to keep them guessing.

Also, you have to look at the pitch. A good track - perhaps too good! Only 24 wickets fell in 5 days. Great if you you are a Basman but a really good test wicket sees a result just after tea on the final day - and that means one of the sides bowling the other out twice. Ok, dropped catches lose matches (or mean you don't win), and so England spent 3.3 days trying to dismiss Sri Lanka twice - and failed!

Add to that, the fact they bowled them out, ten wickets an' all, for just 192 first time around. Pitch or otherwise, failing to wrap it up by Sunday teatime, let alone Monday dusk, has to ask questions of complacency, just about above application at least...

Very disappointing. But, anyway... bring on Thursday, Second Test a-go-go... and another win of the toss, fingers crossed...
