if he spent a bit more time working in the nets on his bowling he could be a good all-rounder

It hasnt worked too well with his batting as he can be relied upon to get either next to nothing or 50+ but he is not consistent enough.

i agree with you bensgrandad.. let's slate our best player, and our only genuine world class player who has the ability to be a match winner in any situation.

lost this test then theres no harm in changing the side alot for the final test, bring back Simon Jones and Harmison & Prior just to see what happens!

Pietersen out!

No really, how can you complain about a batsman who either does ruddy well or gets a low score? Everyone gets a low score sometimes..

South Africa are coasting to victory and ALL of England's 4 bowlers look totally f***ed.

Sidebottom is slower than normal and ineffectual, Anderson not much better and other than that first spell Flintoff's looked ordinary.

I don't blame the bowlers but, ultimately, it looks like we're unable to bowl them out twice with the 4 bowlers we've picked. I also see that Broad's taken 7 wickets in his county match.

I've got to give credit to Collingwood for his innings but lack of runs from Vaughan, Strauss and Ambrose are really hurting us.

When has there EVER been a successful test side with only 4 bowlers?
