I'm looking forward to this. Mates coming round and the beer is packed full of lager and cider. All her pointless stuff (salad) has been put aside to make space for the essentials.

I'm missing Sunday's match, so am looking forward to tonight's soccerfest.

Hart should be having all 90 minutes, and down on the teamsheet to face USA.

Would play

Hart

Johnson Dawson Rio Baines

Lennon Huddlestone Parker Johnson

Rooney Heskey
Agree with that. Give them most of the game as well. I'd like to see Joe Cole get a run out, I know Capello has said he's resting the Chelsea players but Cole's problem will be not enough games, not too many.

Not Huddlestone and Parker in the middle together. Milner needs a game there. Also we know exactly what we get from Heskey so no point playing him in this one.

I was thinking play Milner on right. as I think Lennon and Theo will go as they are miles ahead of SWP

But but but but.....

I hope the press misunderstood this and what is actually happening is he will play as a third CB

Which position involves more running. Centre back or holding midfielder? It could be good, but if midfield requires more running, he will be f***ed after one game

ps. Has anyone checked that there is electricity in the Wembley area after last nights SHAMBLES

Same article I read about Hart, it also mentioned Capello 'trying' things tonight.
So I expect a 4-5-1 with Rooney up top on his own.

Hart
Johnson - King - Rio - Baines
Lennon - Milner - Gerrard - Huddlestone? - Johnson
Rooney

But we know everything about Crouch and Defoe, too. I'd have said give Bent a half with Rooney and a half with Heskey but since he's apparently injured I think we might as well go with our first choice two and give them as much time together as possible.

I always forget about Milner for some reason, Mlner or Parker then, but we know Milner is going anyways so I would like to have a look at the other two.

We need to work on trying Milner as the holding midfielder I reckons.

All the /s are half time subs

Hart
Johnson King Rio Warnock/Baines
Lennon/Walcott Milner Gerrard Johnson
Rooney/Defoe Crouch

I don't think we do.

Who would you play there?

Barry probably won't be fit, Huddlestone is nowhere near ready and Parker is nowhere near good enough.

I can't think of anyone else?...

I think Huddlestone deserve to start tonight after the season he has had, Milner will go so why not give Huddlestone a chance tonight

Carrick, Barry, Huddlestone - none of them are ideal but those are the choices, I think if you try putting Milner in there you're getting back to the Gerrard/Lampard days but with different names. Parker's not really a holding player either.
