Tickets selling fast but still available here...

Last opportunity to see the boys and wish them well before they head to the promised land of South Africa to make all our dreams come true. Promises to be an emotional day and with squad places still up for grabs this should be an extremely competitive game with one of the hottest prospects in central America in Mexico, who will be sure to add some colour and a carnival atmosphere to what should be a great occasion.

Tickets are selling fast and if you want one I would advise you to act now, available from a bargain price of £30 for adults, see you there!

:clap2:

Lets show the boys our support!

Can't make it, but is it on telly? Should be an interesting match down the Varsity, Wolverhampton where my and my mate(s) tend to watch soccerball matches on the not-so-big screen.

All of my spare cash this month will be spent on England vs. the Barbarians at Twickenham, I'm afraid - should be a good game also.

Live on ITV1 Strings, I am sure it will be a raucous atmosphere in the Varsity.

I went to a World Cup "sendoff" match once in 1998, against Saudi Arabia.
It was 0-0, and was probably the most shockingly appalling game of soccerball I have ever had the misfortune to witness live (and I was at the Orient game at Withdean on Boxing Day). After half an hour I was frantically clawing at my own eyes and had almost chewed through the bone of my left shoulder.

Dreadful stuff, and this game will be no exception as players tiptoe around the pitch desperately trying to avoid the merest of ankle-taps. I'm not watching this one unless I have about 500mg of Prozac close to hand.

I went to England v Kazakhstan in the World Cup qualifiers, and although the stadium was breathtaking, being around fans supporting other clubs was a god awful experience.

Racist behaviour towards our Black players, and booing Ashley Cole when he got the ball because he made ONE mistake.

It would have to be something special to get me to go back anytime soon.

I went to England v. Switzerland a couple of years ago. Wes Brown took one heck of a lot of abuse - his ability to cut it out impressed me. Still, Wembley is amazing.

I was there too... totally terrible. Gazza got 15 minutes if I remember. Highlight of day was being on a coach which overtook the England team bus and we saw them playing cards...

i saw my first live england game recently - the most boring 3-0 victory in history, against belarus in the ultimately meaningless last game of the campaign.

pretty shit, and i was apalled at the yobbos congregated around tottenham court road, etc. i shouldn't have been surprised, but for some reason i imagined it would be like an evening in the north stand at withers... perhaps with wine and cheese

so... i expect tickets to a MEANINGFUL game would be sweet but otherwise its a dirge and you get herded by horse policewomen at the end

and yes i left early to beat the rush... ten minutes. with about 20,000 other people

No disrespect Crodo, but you could go the the media launch of a new range of Addis rotary washing lines and make it sound every bit as exciting as shark fishing off the Great Barrier Reef.

the pre-2006 world cup game against jamaica at old trafford was a BELTER - hot weather, reggae bands and a peter crouch hat-trick

Yes. We won 6-0 and everyone was well pleased and that.

Of course, that was before we realised SGE was going to string six across midfield and play with one isolated striker, and hope to score goals from David Beckham's set pieces.

I've just got interested in this game. A first trip to the new Wembley, full hospitality. Marvellous. More tequila over here, waiter.

I'm going to be there expecting it to be a typical pre-tournament friendly. Hoping the likes of Dawson, Parker & Johnson will play
