Not a Southgate fanboy (feel he deserves more respect from many) but this lot aren’t a bad team. We’ve been really good overall for 5 years and rarely slip up in games we should win. Really pleasing watching England these days - just need that bit of luck and last hurdle mentality for a major with this squad

You’d think with all the effort C4 must have put in to get some of these games they’d at least get a decent team together!

I'm sorry but Maguire has consistently performed well for England. That's why he keeps getting picked, regardless of how poor he is for Man Utd.
