Some terrific bowling from Broad today and batting from Dravid, to be fair. India have some IMMENSE batsmen in their side when you look at the bare stats.

So what do we think England's tactics should be? I say bat normally and aim to get to lunch with a lead of 290-odd. If we get there with 2 or less wickets down I say blitz it after lunch and aim to declare and have 4 or 5 overs before tea. I'd target a lead of between 400-450.

I hope Strauss doesn't leave the declaration too late, i.e. less than an hour before the close of play. Having Sehwag out of the line-up makes a massive difference in what total the Indians are capable of.
