[Travel] England v Germany

Make no bones about it, a bitterly disappointing performance. A friend went and said whilst the majority of the ‘daytripper’ fans enjoyed the spectacle the hardcore England fans there were not at all pleased and booed them off after their fifth defeat in six games. Neville’s job must be hanging by a thread, also disappointed to hear of isolated skirmishes on the way out between home and away supporters, the Germans goading their English counterparts.

:nono:

Oh well shit happens , cant have people taking liberties:wink:

Was poor of the Germans to goad their English counterparts knowing the hurt they were feeling after losing to a last minute goal but a shame the England fans had to rise to it.

Czech Republic v England BBC 4 now, massive game for Phil Neville, desperately needs a win. Let’s hope the travelling England fans can behave themselves too.

3-2 win, great attitude, never gave up, desperate for the win and the quality ultimately told. Massive win for PNev.

A win's a win, but a disappointing performance that, like the Portugal game, relied on another goalkeeping mistake for the winner.

They've clearly gone backwards under Neville since the summer.

Away from the Lionesses, it's fair to say with 5 games played that there are still major questions related to paying spectator interest level in the WSL.

Just 331 at Everton Women v Brighton Women in the last round of fixtures.

Generally when you’re in a run of poor form you have to scrap to a win and then winning games improves confidence and thus performances. The Czechs were better than most expected but ultimately the quality told and you can’t argue we weren’t worthy winners. Also pleased not to hear of any trouble from travelling supporters.

It's certainly a relief that despite intense provocation, all 20 of them behaved themselves.

The women's team was a lot better with the alleged racist shagger Sampson in charge.
