Carl Rushworth has been an unused sub for England age teams on 11 occasions now (once for the U-20s and ten times for the U-21s).

Why on earth wouldn't you play him today - it's a meaningless fixture?

Will he ever get an international cap?

It really might have been his last, best chance to earn a cap. He'll be too old for the U-21s after this tournament, meaning it would have to be a senior cap if it was to happen - let's hope he turns out to be as good as we think he might be!
