Not what I’d pick but there you go. Saka unlucky not to start but doubt Southgate has the balls to play him. Mount in isolation until Monday night so can’t see him starting either.

I think Mr Southgate will be taking it very very carefully whilst trying to cram in as many of his old favourite WC2018SF players as possible.

A side without Foden, Grealish and Sancho could be dull but I think he’ll be looking to grind out a 1-0. Coping with the German wing-backs is the priority having been nullified by Scotland’s 3-at-the-back system so recently.

This side screams out for the passing and intelligent positioning for of Ben White at RCB in my opinion where he played so many games for us, but I’d be surprised if Gareth is able to pick quality over experience, Saka might be the only exciting pick.

I think yesterday's games would have terrified Southgate and he'll go all out for a defensive masterclass. Hope I'm wrong.

Right back is the biggest lottery - Southgate seems to love Walker, but his passing has been well off.

I'm sure he's itching to get Henderson back in the starting XI, though if not quite fit it'll still be Phillips.

I will be GOBSMACKED if Kane doesn't start, though I'd personally like to see DCL given a go. Sterling is another favourite for Southgate and to be fair, his run of goals for England justifies selection.

There will be uproar from certain quarters if Grealish isn't picked to start, but that's what I reckon will happen.

This German side isn't to be feared like some, so I reckon we have a good chance. It's bound to be 0-0 after yesterday's goalfest though.
