Everyone there knows that Becks hasn't ever scored at Wembley, and willed him to have a go from every distance he collected the ball. He has a mature head though, and would rather make a pass every time, than have a cavalier selfish crack from a low percentage chance.

I don't care who we were playing - Beckham's passing was nothing short of stupendous tonight.

Right, I haven't seen a lot of Ashley Young to be honest but he was absolute shite tonight. On that performance he wouldn't get into the Brighton team.

I assume he's usually A LOT better than that.

Glen Johnson & Beckham were excellent.

ITV is a f***ing disgrace.

The only problem I have with BBC is not replacing Motson when it was obvious he was past it (see Barry Davies).

However, EVERYTHING about ITV is a shambles, from start to finish.

cant believe people are knocking Walcott (or Lennon) who is top draw player. but when he draws in 3 players, its a bit difficult to put in the final ball. give him more space of more rounded opposition and he is immense (same goes for Lennon, very little between them). the focus on Walcott allowed Johnson alot of the space he was able to use to execute 4 killer passes.

on the other hand disappointed with Ashley Young, who wasted much of the ball he was given when he wasnt being tracked as closely.
