I've just spoken to someone in the ticket officewho says they're expecting to sell 15,000+ tickets. He expects many will be buying 10 tickets when only 2 are attending, thus spending £6 including booking fee instead of £7. Is it worth it to save a quid?

Well I bought 15 today I had 8 definates and there are many people who I haven't asked yet whom I sure will go, If I cant shift them at 50p each I'll be shocked and my mum and family can have them for free.

Pretty sure I heard the guy say WSL was almost sold out but that may have been a different game.

And what booking fee? Mine cost £7.50 for 15 tickets in WSU @50p each.

I was told WSU & WSL were virtualy sold out, We've got 60 odd going from work, most of whom support other cubs but want to get a look at the inside of the stadium,so had to get East stand

When did you do buy these? Maybe it was just because you wanted such a large number but I got 15 without any problems.

Your right about why we have to go in the east stand , not moaning, I dont really care where I sit though must admit being a WSU STH, having already been in the east & booked for the south v barnsley I did fancy going in the north. Having just looked at the ticket website theres only threes or fours available in groups and only about 100 or so in the whole WSU. WSL showing as not available so sold out I assume.

I'm very impressed with how many have been sold then. I thought maybe 10,000 but if what you say about the WS is true then that's 12,000 already!

Sorry if this is fixtures but can someone enlighten me. I usually sit in the 1901 section but I have just bought a ticket for this match and thought I would try the West Stand Upper as I haven't been to this part of the ground. I've had an e-mail confirming my purchase with a row and seat number. Is this preloaded onto my smart card so that I just swipe that at the correct turnstile or do you need a paper ticket?

I was assuming it goes onto the card

Have just booked 10 seats in the East Stand.

Apparently due to high demand The North Stand is likely to be available tomorrow afternoon and with continued interest all 4 stands could be on sale by the weekend.

Bloke in the ticket office said we have easily sold over 10,000 tickets already !!!

I just booked for my football team, and all that was left was the East. When I enquired about the others he said they all sold out this morning

Went the the Amex club shop about an hour ago and the bloke said only east stand was left, so i assumed everywhere else has sold out.

North stand hasn't gone on sale yet though has it?

That is truly mental. I doubt these things usually get a crowd of more than a few thousand. I was planning on going in WSU, but it seems I'll have to get a move on now just to get a ticket.
