Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool all usually play with a 451/433 so it baffles me that Capello hasn't done this. It seems that Rooney is dropping deep which is stifling his game and also closing down the space for Lampard and Gerrard to run into.

I really think Heskey needs to be dropped and Cole brought in to add creativity and stop the 'lump it to Emile' crap we have had to endure so far.

Oh and I would tell them they need more passion because that's how you win World Cups

I believe the problem lies in the amount of money in the game.

England teams of the distant past, earned hundreds of pounds, and were proud to represent their country.

Today they are all multi millionaires and would rather be on holiday.

But surely there must be an element of passion when playing for your country?

It's not the be all and end all, agreed.

Talent is needed, but that's something we are severely lacking, we have nothing up front, and minimal amounts throughout the squad.

All those mugs that said we are going to get to the quarter finals/semis look pretty stupid right now.
