Seagull over Canaryland

Just listening to TMS during the rain extended lunch break. Obviously a Hampshire flavour on their big day. Rod Bransgrove spoke about developing the Rosebowl site and Aggers challenged him about the problems for crowds getting in and out with the limited access and reliance on park and ride etc. Bransgrove admitted it is all about how the thing is managed - which made me ponder how efficiently these issues will be managed at The Amex.
Then Mark Nicholas and Shaun Udal had a chat with Aggers except that it became a Nicholas monologue talking over the other presenters and guests, some very interesting anecdotes (including about Sussex) - but what an arrogant arse he is. The Channel 9 gig downunder has gone to his head. Udal barely got a word in. Aggers has now given up trying to steer their discussion and Nicholas seems to have taken over the whole programme, is now asking the questions of other TMS members! There is something very smarmy about him, but then I didn't like him as captain of Hants. No doubt TMS are grateful for a bit of filling in between real action but god forbid Nicholas ever gets this as a regular gig.
