A fair declaration, it was always likely Strauss wouldn't want to give them less than 6 an over to chase. I fancy he would have liked another 20 runs to be able to burn with some aggressive field placings but England holding all the aces.

I think Prior has developed over the last few years into a solid player for the national side. He bats for the team - not for Matt Prior. I can understand his frustration at the run out and if it was him who broke the window, I'm sure he could afford to get a galzier in before end of play

From Cricinfo: The ECB statement on 'windowgate' suggests that Matt Prior threw his gloves, which ricocheted off a kit bag, into bats near window which broke glass.

All a bit tame really.
