Very impressed he has the balls to drop that prick Terry, good to see a youthful TEAM rather then international underachieving INDIVIDUALS

It doesn't take balls to drop someone who's injured for 2 months, really - much as I hope he wouldn't have been picked anyway, I'm sure he would have been if available.

A combination of

1.) No Terry, No Ferdinand and No Lampard, along with LOTS of youngsters
and
2.) The GLORIOUS weather here in West Sussex

has suddenly made me look forward to the Euros a heck of a lot more. Anyone else?

I'm underwhelmed by that squad, it's all so depressing.

We know Redknapp will be in charge for the Euros, we know he is a pragmatist and tends to pick older experienced players over younger players. Therefore, I fully expect Lampard to be in his squad for the finals, in which case buzzing him out now is not ideal.

And what's Fraizer Campbell done to deserve a place? He's already been passed over by Spurs and Man Utd. And no Michael Owen...

The issue with that squad and generally is the strikers.

Wellbeck has only scored 6 goals this season, Cambell has been injured for about 10 months and Rooney is suspended for the first 2 games.

Bent is looking better for England, but plays in a Villa team that does not attack and Sturridge is OK'ish, but not exactly in the goals.

As much as Crouch is a lanky streak of p1ss, he does give England another option and does have a strange habit of scoring when playing for England.

oxlade-chamberlain.....should be in , get him blooded asap ,he is f***ing quality.

I disagree with you on this. He isn't ready for the full squad yet. Look at what we've done with Walcott, since 2006. He hasn't been the same player and there is far to much hype over him now. Back on to the subject, I think Pearce has done the right thing and given the younger players a chance. I'm very positive by this and seeing no Terry, Ferdinand or Lampard is even better.

I am impressed too. Me and Stu have been best mates* ever since I sat next to him at the England-Poland U21 game at Molineux.** Tidy choices there from Psycho.

I bumped into him at a petrol station outside Nottingham when he was playing Forest and was England skipper. I know it shouldn't have come as a surprise but his thighs really were ridiculously massive.

Downing (for me) has potential, but the doesn't show it very often. Walcott has not improved in 5 years. Doubt I'd pick either TBH.
Nor me. Neither should be near the England team on current form, IMO.

Did you offer to take him for a spin in your rusty Fiesta?
