So, overall you think that was an above average performance?

Walcott running into the right channel and crossing to the far post created our best chance. Johnson played without fault and Terry marshalled the defence OK and saved one certain goal. Just need another eight players.

Carroll did well back in the middle of our defence and Wellbeck showed once he might make a good reserve full-back.

I agree - and the back 5 were great throughout the tournament along with Gerrard. Wellbeck started well and faded tonight as well as in the tournament as a whole.

The rest were poor, only seeing glimpses from Parker, Milner, Young, Rooney etc.
