I just thought that with speculation rife about who will be offered the England job it was time to take our minds off the issue of relegation and air our views on the suitability of the favourites for the post.
All of them have their undoubted merits and my personal favourite from the four names wideley believed to be the "short list" is Martin O'Neill. It all depends whether he is offered and accepts the Newcastle job, for me his credentials are the best, forget the fact that he isn't English.
