I'm sorry, but I'm in the dis-interested camp. All this talk about 'play the English way' finished as soon as foreign players were allowed into the PL. It's a sad reflection on 'our' game that the spine of the Premier league consists of foreigners, who we could well be facing over the next month. Will Arsenal supporters still love van Persie as he runs Terry ragged as he did in the league match? I find it ironic that seven of the French team play in the PL......they won't be hero-worshipped come next Monday......I think you get the message.......

Also we have a seriously tough task just to qualify from the group imo, def not going to be easy, so if we can just grind out a few results and get through i will be well pleased and after that we'll get hammered 5-0 by spain or holland! (dont know who were likely to meet) No, after that who knows on any given day we could beat any of the teams, just not that likely

If we win the group we face the runner up of group C, if we come second in the group we face the winner of group c, so one of....Spain, Italy, Croatia or Rep of Ireland

England are like a girlfriend who always cheats on you.
Every two years she does it, and betrays your trust, but two years later you will take her back thinking this time will be different.

This england team is better than the one at the world cup 2010. The trouble is English football trains the skill out of players in this country which means we very rarely get treated to entertaining football. Every now and then we get a right old bonus, but not often. It is my belief we could play a lot better but choose the dour route which frustrates the absolute crap out of me. I will however, as always, sit down with a few friends, watch every match we play and seeth when we just pass the ball around before we lose it in midfield and end up with 1 shot on goal in the whole match, which incidentally ended up somewhere near the corner flag. f*** f*** f*** f*** f***. I feel better now.

But Roy has made a living out of getting, average, at best, footballers to play better, as a team.
Harry, taking over this team, would have embarrassed England in the footballing world.

IF (and that's the worlds biggest IF) Roy gets time with the squad, by staying in the tournament, I think we'll at least come away with our pride intacted.

Never been as interested in the England as i am at the moment, love the fact there new names in the team, yes there are not many world class players only 2 possibly, but looking at players coming through i really can not wait.

Bright and new future

I used to think like that but i have kicked her arse out of it now, cheated on me too many times and she'll cheat on me again in a couple of weeks if i took her back.

I cannot watch England playing football anymore... it is rubbish. I think I have been seduced by the Gus magic. Everytime I see some English player hoof the ball into nowhere my heart sinks. Keep the f***ing thing!! Pass it around. Let the opposing team run like rabbits. Have I been spoilt?

Have you been spoilt? Probably. I lost count of the number of times possession was squandered last night. Can you imagine the outcry at the Amex if Brez or Ank gave the ball away as much as Hart did last night?

It must be the weakest squad we've sent to a major tournament in 50 years. Half a dozen of them aren't even regulars in their club sides. And no decent goalkeeping cover - i remember when we were renowned for our strength in that department if nothing else. How the hell has it come to this . . . .?

I doubt our relative squads would fair too well against each other!, this one is no worse than any other.

It has come to this because at no point has the national team been more important than the Premier League.
A league that was proposed to strengthen the national side, and introduce more revenue throughout the football system.

The FA and ALL teams from under 10's upwards have refused to play and train properly.
The FA didn't, a la Germany, 10-15 years ago propose a blueprint for football and the national team, in the aftermath of whichever failing we had back then.

Do I have to continue?
