England and Germany fans were involved in clashes in Düsseldorf on Friday night, according to reports.

Video footage obtained by the Daily Mail shows a group of England fans outside a bar in the city, taunting nearby Germany supporters about their side’s exit and singing “Germans going home”.

A scuffle then broke out between a handful of people, who aimed punches and kicks at each other with some objects thrown before the Germany fans appeared to move away.

Pathetic handbags stuff. Certainly the headline doesn’t match the video!

I’m in Dusseldorf. Watched the game with the fans in the fans park. No trouble whatsoever. I think the Germans were expecting to lose to be honest and didn’t seem that bothered.

Trying to work out if you are a wannabe, an excited schoolboy or a disgusted OAP. Pathetic post!

"Germans going home", I thought they had been home all tournament.
Yes, this was odd behaviour from the England fans as 'Germans going home' was a literal, observational statement. More a social commentary than a chant of incitement.

I wonder if it was the poor inflections in the English fans attempt at a German accent that meant the situation became a little bit riled.

Beer throwing though, or was it just target practice for Southgate tonight as his tactics again put England on the back foot.
Have we STILL not seen any white plastic chairs luzzed in this tournament? Why won't anybody think of the manufacturers ?

God save the Queen

i think it says a lot about how things have changed, when the worst bit of "English footy ooligans" the mail can come up with is literally two or three guys pushing each other away for about 15 seconds before they start to meander off. Looks like they didnt even spill the beer!
