England-Algerian Themed evening

One of my friends is inviting a bunch of us to his place where we will indulge in north african/algerian snacks. This is my contribution:

Makroud el Louse (Almond Cookies)

(Yes, a few at the bottom are burnt, I left the second batch in a little too long)

And some Cinnamon Swirl Bread:
(this is my first attempt, which lost some shape, it's near one end of the loaf and the swirl isn't as distinct as it is further in)

And this is my second attempt, fresh out of the oven

It is rather larger than last nights effort, which was delicious, I hope this one is as tasty.
