I cannot see why Azure would need to charge exorbitant prices. There are many burhgers that are made and sold commercially that earn the owners a good profit and if reasonably priced the increased sales would make the revenue . Which is the greater 5,000 pies / burgers making £3 profit or 10,000 burgers making £2 which is easily achieved with burgers and hot dogs.

Hitlers Britain? - Can anyone tell me why anyone would live 100yards from a train station in the first place-Its gonna be noisy/smelly etc. Shirley the smell of burgers being cooked a few times a month isnt gonner put you into therapy. I live 15minutes away from the Amex--I am surrounded by the so called ELITE fecking brains of the country going to the University. A big majority are feckwits who wake me up several times a night between midnight and four in the morning pissed out of there heads. I have complained for years-----nothing has been done, so how come a few people have managed to get rid of a burger van ?

So an article about a burger van has now:

1. Blamed Barber
2. Blamed the Greens
3. Drifted into casual racism...... "Jew Boys"

I think that is all the boxes ticked and this one can be closed down.

The most shocking part of this discussion for me is the post from our Fanzine representative. I'm surprised because I thought Fanzines were supposed to be about an independent Fans view with a touch of anarchy and humour. Turns out ours is a NIMBY. :nono:
I do have a Burger Van at the bottom of my garden, all be it about 100 Metres away. It operates about 10 times a year when there are loads of horses thundering up and down, jumping over fences or knocking them down. People applauding and a woman with a dreadful voice commentating, as lots of teenage girls squeal in delight. The smell from the horse boxes is noticeable too, as I wander past on my morning walk round the field.

Wasn't intended as racism but I couldn't think of a better way to describe the approach and trading methods of that section of the worlds population.

In marketing circles they would quote Tesco to illustrate your point, pile it high, sell it cheap. A more PC approach.

Can I throw in a suggestion for the club to possibly think about. Sam Restaurant have a mobile burger unit. Pricey at £5 a go, for a Sussex Lamb burger, but very, very tasty, and none of that rancid smell from cheap burgers.

On a second point I would have thought it was only students that lived in the houses by the Station. Not saying they have not got a point of view, but those dwellings are hardly idillic.

So Mr Teflon gets off again, this is how it started with mr d b:facepalm:

i don't think i'm the one on trial here????

Getting rid of it appears to be nothing at all to do with the club so no idea why people are on their high horses about that...???

Appearances can be deceptive:(

Strange that you are not the only person to mention his name in this matter???

smoke/fire

another poster bringing mr barber into it???

another poster quoting a post with mr barber name in it???
Its quite clear he has nothing to do with this issue leave the guy alone:facepalm:

Hilarious. :nono:
