I've just done it with us winning no more games but picking up draws and I get us in 16 place on 38 points. going down: southampton (31) Stoke (30) West Brom (23)

Find this staggering

West Ham's 42-point haul in 2002/03 remains the highest of any Premier League team to be relegated during a 38-game season, despite having Michael Carrick, Paulo Di Canio, Joe Cole, Glen Johnson and Jermain Defoe among the ranks.

I've got us finishing tenth with Palace, Swansea and West Brom going down. Definitely take that.

Surprising.

I was relatively pessimistic and had us safe on 38 pts.
Win against Huddersfield and five draws, Arsenal,Leicester, Burnley, Everton, Palace

West brom, Southampton and Swansea down with 21,33,33 pts respectively.
obviously it won't pan out like that and I still expect 37pts will be the amount necessary to stay up.

Interesting how many people are finding our run in may not be as damaging as at first feared.

That's not particularly pessimistic. We'd all take a draw against Arsenal, and a draw away to Everton would be decent too. I assume Everton will be stronger favourites to beat us, than we will be to beat Hudds. I don't think your predictions are bad, could well be spot on, but I wouldn't call them pessimistic.

A decent performance against Swansea and everyone's lost the plot.

I'm not sure why exactly given our current record against the top 6 but I've got us nabbing all three points from both Arsenal and Man Utd.
Because you're an optimist :)

I had us winning just one more game (v Huddersfield), drawing with Palace and Leicester and losing all the rest .... and we were still safe!

Stoke have got a fearsome set of fixtures
