If anyone ever scores en overhead from outside the box, Gods like Zlatan aside… it’s always an absolute fluke… I once hit the bar with one, was it skill ? No, it was a classic ‘could have ended up in the car park moment’ obviously it felt amazing to nearly score, but I could never really claim it as a deliberate act… not like lining one up and actually aiming for the top corner.

I rest my case.

So there.

I also hit the bar from outside the box with an overhead kick in my service days.....unfortunately, it was the NAAFI!

I’m just chuffed to bits that a player from Brighton & Hove Albion was even nominated for best goal of the year. Yes BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION had a player in the running for best goal of the year. My mind is truly boggled. I need to lie down.
Yes. In a season where one of our players wins the World Cup, another is judged to have scored the second best goal in the world, and our boys stroll through the group stage our first ever European adventure. Shouldn't complain, really... it's a tad bonkers, innit?

All ruined by people walking up to P&R sites and jumping on buses though

The quality of the opposition must be taken into account. Julio's was a classic 'De Zerbi' goal against the best side in the world. The winner was some fluke in some Noddy league played in front of about four spectators and a few disinterested goats.

Booooooooooooooo! They hate us big clubs that what it is. Pure jealously.
