[Albion] Empty seats

The game was switched and people are of course busy with family commitments and so on, all valid rationale for non-attendance. But the optics of hundreds of empty seats in the tv facing East stand, and in the north, the base for our most vocal support, didn't look good.

Just remembered some goons in the North actually had the audacity to sing 'you've seen the Albion now f*** off home'. When actually half the crowd didn't see the Albion
Terrible song (and that’s saying something if I’ve gone to the trouble of mentioning it as I’m no fan of the “song police”. However, those that like it knock yerselves out, it’s a free country. I simply abstain)

At the 'top end' of the didn't look good spectrum, it's not something TB would potentially be happy with, doesn't look good to a global PL audience in terms of BHA, is obviously registered by our players, sponsors and manager etc. and at the extremely irrational end to potential transfer targets. Bed wetting aside, there were obviously mitigating factors, but Villa at home is a big fixture, no matter how people try playing it down.

Agree, I hate this song as it reminds me of being surrounded by United fans singing their version as I was walking away from Wembley.

Sorry if that upset you, I'll be sure to tell them to not be so silly next time and stay quiet
Yeah it did upset me actually. We all heard how dickish it was from the United fans singing it our way at Wembley. It was great to sing it back to them after beating them last year.

But to sing it ourselves in a regular league game when we've won our first game in months just makes us look like twats to be honest. Especially when half the crowd haven't bothered.

The normal moaners behind us weren't there but in their place we had a couple of "Sling it in the mixer's" which was different

Another favourite is the “Man on” shouts. From ESU or WSU. Whilst we used to sit in WSU there was a Monday Night Quarterback who was obsessive “ Down the channels”.
