For me this shows out ambition. We either go for a player not good enougn for another championship club or a lge 1 standerd one.
Although if he canot get into a championship rival team then he probably is lge 1 player anyway.

if were serious about getting to the prem we should be going for other teams stars.

and before you all say how are a team in a relegation going to atract these players....... we should of done this during the close season , when every one could se we were nocking on the door. 2 playoffs in 2 years, would sound like a great club to join.

Unfortunately, that time has passed . Sell ur best players and replace them with this lot.

What that bloke who can actually pass, nay cross a football into a dangerous area? Paddy the 'creative' player who can cut in from wide areas, and has more talent in his little toe than anyone else in our squad? Mmm...

He can when he's fit, & has the right attitude. If he had, he wouldn't be playing for Brighton.

I assume part of his loan means he cant play against Boro on the last day of the season... Hopefully we're safe by then!

Good signing, just what we need.

I assume we'll get a striker in if we really need to hit the panic button in March.

A midfield that includes a selection of Lua Lua, Ince, Kayal, Texiera, Ledesma, Stephens, Baldock and March should really be moving up the table... but we'll see.

"A behind-closed doors U21 friendly proved highly successful for Boro this afternoon with Muzzy Carayol playing a full 90 minutes and Emmanuel Ledesma scoring a hat-trick."

I'd prefer Carayol. Like Ledesma, he needs to get some match fitness but unlike Leds, he is a specialist winger and seems to score more goals. We were in for Carayol previously I seem to remember but along with the likes of Grabban & Clayton, he didn't fancy coming down here.

I can see the sense if this is a 93 day loan, smacks of complete desperation to take a player who has played twice this season on a month's loan though.

He has also played 7 games for Rotherham scoring once. His last game was on 28 December. Not exactly inspiring I know, but just to add a bit of balance.

Absolutely spot on, if this does turn out to be a 31 day loan then it makes no sense what so ever. Hopefully it's 93days with a view to sign him permanently at the end of it

Perhaps this is initially a 31 day loan that after looking at him can be extended to 93 days. If so with money as tight as it appears why not try to move some out who dont look likely to get a game?

Potential game changer and someone to put pressure on those already here to compete harder for their place. Not a signing to set the pulses racing but with a busy month coming up not a bad one imo.
