Would be perfect for us, but I can't see it happening.

This is exactly the sort of player we should be signing but can’t see us being able to afford his wages unfortunately.
now i know these sites are not too reliable, but nearly every source i can find says £40kpw (one says £57k). if that’s the case we could probably even give him a pay rise

Source pretty good on Arsenal news so expect he’s got this from their side.

Wages apparently £40-£50k a week so not an issue unless someone offers him stupid money.

Would be a great addition

Not a real source, 100% made up.

Can’t believe anyone is falling for this.

His pinned tweet is him calling the Rice to Arsenal transfer in June, which is hardly sticking his neck out ha

I mean I’d say made up rumour for clicks but is he actually any good?
Seems to have been on the side of the Arsenal team for years without making a breakthrough.

Villa and Newcastle also mentioned in various other posts, along with a few ‘definitely not for sale’ type things. Who knows
Yeah, three possibilities. 1) Not getting much game time and his agent is causing trouble. 2) Arsenal really do want to cash in or 3) it's bollocks. All three are possible but I know where I'd stick my cash if pushed.

I'm interested in the fact that Arsenal seem to be open to selling him, also that City are open to selling Cole Palmer. Both academy prospects, for whom a sale will dismay the fanbase. But is this the effects of sailing close to FFP limits, now or in the future, kicking in?

Despite being back from injury about Jan or something, Arsenal haven’t played him much at all since then, no sign of reintegrating him or anything. They also just bought Havertz who I think basically plays the same position.

I suspect he’s fallen out with Arteta and he is for sale, they said the same about Tierney (he was part of their plans) and he went on loan 3 days later.

I'd have thought the priorities would be on defence - and protecting the defence - rather than more attacking players, but if he's what the club wants and a deal can be struck, so be it.
