Elvis Manu? More like Elvis DOGSHITU

He had 45 minutes yesterday and not ONE goal did he muster. The pointless Dutch waste of space.

I didn't go to the game but could see he was COMPLETE TURD and I demand we GET RID at the earliest opportunity. I don't care the transfer window is shut. TERMINATE his contract like the unborn foetus of a rape victim

Are you ERNEST in disguise?

I was only watching the stream but I thought Elvic looked keen until he got kicked in the mouth and the referee's weird delay on letting him come back onto the field.

That was very strange and from where I was standing (paradoxically for me, on the far right of the away stand) it seemed as if the ref had forgotten that he was waiting to come back on. It also looked as if when he did come back on, he just ran on without permission, with the lino consequently trying to attach the ref's attention, and the ref then realising (perhaps) that he'd cocked up, pretending nothing had happened. It was all very very crappy.

This is where i am. I'm not over reacting to one game but i really do think we need cover for Baldock. We have great cover in so many places, bar this.

We have cover for Baldock but the manager won't use him and if your not involved playing games he won't be match fit.
The manager states he is training well.
His name is COLUNGA and he takes a mean penalty, how that would have helped yesterday.

That's exactly what I was thinking yesterday.

Mind you, I agree that it's far too early to judge Elvis. He showed more effort yesterday than Best did all season.

I love how some users are quick to mention how there's no chance you can judge a player after 1 game, but yet the youtube videos hyping up certain players are great!

Manu looked okay for what we saw. Probably going to be behind Murphy and LuaLua in the selection orders. Very raw, needs to improve his first touch.

True, but hopefully the look at youtube clips are treated with hope, and not intended as a full assessment of a player. And likewise, yesterday wasn't enough for a full assessment.

He's got pace, and I imagine he's more likely to do well against a team playing up the pitch, not one that's camped in their own half.

Why would you think it was good?

We have 3 specific positional strikers, the fast one, the big one & the 15 minute one and nothing else.
SB & TH become completely ineffectual without the other and Bobby is currently less than half a player and not up to CoG standard in that role.

This season the Albion have been odd goal lucky (the exact opposition to last season).
With no goal scoring strength in depth derailing that has always been a heart beat away.

Certain could be the case - I was expecting Elvis to be a suitable back up for Baldock - maybe that isn't correct. I guess there is an option to use one of the other wingers if we need a stand in forward. Certainly Bobby isn't a lone striker - even for part of the game. He at best will be able to release a fast strike partner, provide the decent pass and maybe get in the end of a few.

Is that bit about him training well just the manager being diplomatic? In the same way that none of his 3 managers ever said that Kemy was a lazy, fat waste of space and 500k a year.

Written off after one sub appearance. Even by NSC standards that's pretty amazing. Still doesn't trump Ulloa being not much good after 2 games though (he did score on his debut so they let him off even though it was only Arsenal)

Rubbish. This is NSC, instant judgement on half a game is required. He's shit as he didn't score. END OF.

Correct. Indeed I havent even seen him so I can say with absolute certainty he is shit. Also so is Bobby he hasnt scored yet either.

BZ in his short periods has shown himself to be much better than COG at doing the same job We need a cover/competition for both Baldock and Hemed.

We do have players who can cover for Baldock - Manu, Murphy, even LuaLua can play centrally, and there's Harper to come. They may not do the job as well as Baldock, but if they did it better they wouldn't be cover, would they, they'd be straight in the team ahead of him.
