The drummer of Elvis Costello and the Attractions (Pete Thomas) was in my year at Lewes Priory, as was the drummer of the Pogues (Andrew Rankin), "Tom" Morley (known as Keith at school) of Scritti Politti, and Wreckless Eric (Eric Gouldon). I never achieved any stardom.
