I see that Falmer parish Council have thrown in the towell over falmer. Didn't realise there was still an issue....then I saw the date.

It's crazy, all these old stories on the news page.

There was an article by Roy Greenslade in the Grauny a couple of weeks ago talking about Newsquest's new sites and he showed an example, so I'd already seen an example.

But the Argus one is weird - there are no news stories visible at all - you only get them by scrolling down the page. And what's with the blank space just under Latest Headlines? Are they going to fill that in later?

I don't get the old stories at all - what's the point of that? Would the Times put the relief of Mafeking on its front page? Would the Grauny put the Peterloo Massacre? Would the Torygraph put the Battle of Britain (actually, that wouldn't surprise me)?

And I see that in the report on the new play at Chichester, they manage to spell Stefan Zweig's name incorrectly - good old Argus.
