My point is, that most of the first-team are as valuable, and if someone comes after any one of them, the bandwagon-jumping clowns are going over the top creating thread after thread extolling one name's virtues like they're the new Zamora or Ward (which I know Bennetthas not been up to now)

Aaand every time WE show interest in another club's player, HE is bigged-up before he's even played so much as a reserve match!

Even if Gus goes after a player - and as much as I think GP is the best judge of ability we have had since Peter Taylor - every manager has made a bad buy here and there, and some have made several less-than-worthy signings.
It's sad that we, until recently, kept getting players turn us down - which left us having to sort through the kind of bog-standard pros that 'wouldn't be fussy'.

Nothing wrong with a chant.
I'm just shrugging at the high incidence of creaming over one player, just as soon as another club pays interest, that's all. He's good, I'm aware of that and Gus is too.

The 'mana-mana' tune applied for Adam el-Abd was a good one, it didn't get sung much at home matches though.
