Does a bit of D&B count?
Long time fans of these guys
Its the genre label thing that confuses me.

YES! These are childhood sounds from me from the parents, I still listen and mix their stuff now. This one is stunning.

Saw these guys at the roundhouse two years ago, they kickstarted with this tune and it definitely gave me the feels. Are you into Zero 7? Groove Armada also produce like this and it's bloody excellent.

Standing in the way of control
K&D Sessions is a classic. The Bug Powder Dust remix on there is one of the best reworkings ever. I have it on good authority that it used to be perfect through headphones while smoking and getting battered on whiskey.

Nice spacey one from Bristol (I think) here:

Sort of, At the time for sure.
Still listen to the Thievery Corporation when I'm in a mood for fond remminising, though.
I tend to relax with deep house now, although I still find Fritz Kalkbrenner uplifting and fluffy.

Who could fail to smile?

Always reminds me of a walk around the Arsenal boundary in Venice.

Really enjoying this thread. I like to think of myself as someone that is quite into Dance music but a lot of this is new for me so will be trying some out.
This track was one of the biggest of last Summer for me. Patrick Topping's label 'Trick' are rolling out lots of good stuff in general.

In lockdown, but sitting on my roof looking out at the sun glistening off the wind farm, listening to this mix and wondering why it feels like Mandy is here.

This album and Structures two are very very good, a masterpiece in some respects. Remind me of my times at the bars on the Ibiza strip, they are still just as good there, but it is becoming increasingly expensive and chavs are starting to invade outside of where they usually were in San Antonio, you have to really search to find the special unique vibes in Ibiza now, luckily I know a few places.
