Is the spur on an extension? or original with the house build? Is there a fused socket?

It resets (as in the switch stays up and teh indicator changes from black to orange) but no power to the sockets on the spur.
Out of interest does the problem mcb have 32A written on it?I don't know It was here when we got here
Yes and yesWithout sounding condescending.
Is it a dual board?
What I mean is there is an rcd protecting one half of the board and another protecting the other half.
If this is the case, both rcds are up?

You're assuming the circuit is a ring circuit but it could be a radial power circuit which would then have a 25a mcb
Only way for him to tell us is to take the cover off the board and let us know if there's 2 live cables going into that breaker
You cant get a 25A mcb

Never try and do your own electrical work. Always find a skilled electrician to diagnose and remedy the issue.
Maybe I should re phrase a domestic radial shouldn't be connected to a 25A mcbI am absolutely no electrician, but Mr Google shows me lots and lots of places that will sell me a 25A mcb?

Thank you for the suggestion, did wonder if it was something to do with sensitivity of the board.
