Absolutely right.

But wait until the vested interests pitch in with a million reasons why hydrogen cars are simply WRONG.

Basically - as I understand it - the biggest problems with hydrogen as a fuel are that it is incredibly cheap to produce and it will never run out.






And don't Hydrogen produce BOMBS?

The biggest problem with hydrogen until recently was that the fuel cells themselves were larger than your average family car, making them somewhat impractical in any vehicle smaller than a bus or a truck. Looks like they may have ovecome that though...

There's also the minor problem that there's nowhere to fill up as yet.

Redlands right - hydrogen is looking like the bees knees..

Frankly though the thought of buying a new car at the moment of any type (electric, petrol, diesel) is completely out of the question. We're walking more than we ever have, I train to work and use the car as little as possible. When we do use the car - its more of a treat than a necessity....I know everyone can't have it like that but we do...
