I'm quite surprised after all the discussions about this previously that this thread is so quiet... has everything that can be said about Adam already been said?

i think its bad news talk about trying to over strenghten at the back if el abd really loved the club he would have signed ages ago we could have used his wages to get a really decent centre mid

Good news. He was MoM at a number of games i saw last season. He is improving every year. provides good competition and cover for fb, cb and cm.

MA may play him as the holding midfielder just in front of the back 4 which he did very well for DW last season. Unfortunately he is a victim of his own sucess, much the same OGH, in that he could play in a number of positions so tended to be moved about and was never able to make one position his own. As regards the time he took to sign his contract I would not hold that against him as he, as a young man with a family, has to weigh up his options, also there must have been some appeal about BHA despite the slagging off he gets on here.

we can't have him and thompson in midfield weres the attacking driving force does no one see that there is no room for him in the first team he did an excellent job last year but we need to move forward

I can see us playing 2 holding midfield players to allow the two other wingers/midfielders pushing forward.

I could see us playing

Kuipers
Whing Elphick Lynch ??
Thomson El-ABd
Cox McLeod
Murray Forster

There was a thread made yesterday at 6.30pm after it was announced on meridian news. So it's probably mostly been discussed on there.
