Ah, but will they want to Cashout this time? What? Oh, shit.
Weird one. I thought I'd read something a few weeks ago suggesting that particular ship had long since sailed and he'd not exactly shone in the Championship next season.Haven’t been watching Derby but I continue to hear good things about him, why not considering his age
My only reservation is, we’d have to pay more this time as they’ve been promoted to the Championship, he’s agreed a new contract, and they’re in the midst of an injury crisis. Might ask for him to be loaned back until the end of the season to bootWeird one. He’s discussed this publicly https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sp...ews/derby-county-eiran-cashin-feature-9146432From a very very good source, the player thought he was on his way to join us last time round. Bags packed waiting for a car to take him to Lancing when it fell through. Was absolutely devastated apparently
This, very shaky source so let's see. That Pete O’Rourke writes a lot of shit so I take that with a big pinch of salt but I hope there’s something in it. Good player.
My computer can't handle the websites of local British newspapers... for real. He’s discussed this publicly https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sp...ews/derby-county-eiran-cashin-feature-9146432
Cute. The replies to that Tweet from Derby fans seem to think it would be highly unlikely for them to let him go due to injuries in the team.
Webster is contracted until June 2026.If this went through then you’d imagine he would be loaned straight back to Derby before coming here in the summer as a replacement for Webster who I think is out of contract in the summer?
By the time everything got sorted it was too late to get the medical done (he spent six hours waiting at a Starbucks off the A38 near Little Eaton). My computer can't handle the websites of local British newspapers... for real.
What were the reasons the deal didn't happen?
Doesn't sound crazy that we'd go again. If we can't get Boscagli in January we might want another left-footed defender in as Igor's replacement. And Cashin wouldn't cost the world unlike some other defenders we've been linked to. It would be a cheapish way of bringing in a backup defender who has the right age and nationality to be easily moved on if things don't work out.
Cute.
Thank youWebster is contracted until June 2026.
Some of it doesn't look to shabby...Never got this one. No outstanding physical attributes, nobody else shown much of an interest, not in the Ireland team. Not even that young.
His data must be staggering.
Can’t see him walking straight in, he’s still Championship level - he’d be a development signing surely?Having watched him several times I doubt he has enough pace to step up and thrive at our level. He’s talented for sure but I’d see him as backup option or one we loan and hope to flip for a profit.
