It is true that's it's impossible - i used to make money as a kid by betting adults they can't do it. However, the rule is that it must be in the palm of your hand and you can't use your finger tips/nails to crush it, you have to rap your fingers around it - now it's impossible to crush!

Its because you sqeeuze the top and bottom of the egg, not the vulnerable sides. You can actually stand on an egg if yuo get it in the right position.

another good trick is to.
1 make two small holes in egg either side
2 blow the contents of egg out into bin
3 find unknowing friend and throw at him
4 watch and laugh as the egg makes it way towards him and and watch him panic to get out of way
5 run
