Two matches to Wembley. Say the U-21's got there, how many tickets could we sell?
Hopefully some of the first team lads coming back from injury can bolster the u21’s along with the lads on the first team bench.

So one lower League One team and two League two teams left, apart from our U21s....

This is there for the taking. Time to further make history in the competition formerly known as the Paint Pot Trophy? ???

All I can say to these arrogant BBC Berkshire commentators is - hahahaha. Going on about 'settling the game by the 70th minute' so they can rest players for their league game, how they were 'far superior' in the first 20 minutes. Your first team has just been done by our weakened U21s - unlucky chumps, enjoy your trip home  Great penalties by your boys by the way!!
BBC Berks have longstanding form for this. I remember listening to their commentary on a Reading v Albion Boxing Day game some years ago. We were spending Christmas with my sister in law in Hartley Witney and perforce had to listen to the game on the local radio there. Really rude comments like "Adam el Abd, dumb name dumb player". Ive nursed a strong dislike ever since. I know local radio is partisan and so it should be but in all my years listening to BBC Sussex with JC and Warren (and their predecessors) Ive never heard them stoop so low

So the fairy tale cup run for the plucky division three outfit has ended. With rows and rows of blue empty seats, they did their best to turn it into a home game to see if that might get the minnows over the line, but it wasn't to be. Sadly, little Reading are left to dream what might have been.

Still, another trip to Sussex beckons next year for them, so it's not all bad news. Unless Crawley go up of course.

I wonder if they've got any players we could buy for a modest fee that would break the hearts of their busload of fans? Silly me, we've just seen them. They're all gash.

Like what? I don't really understand all this moaning about the commentary. Don't people ever listen to local radio? This is what it's like. Very parochial. BBC Radio Berkshire are broadcasting to Reading fans. Have you never listened to BBC Sussex commentaries?
Yes, they're quite good. Johnny and Warren know what they're talking about, and call it out when Brighton are looking second best. This lot at Reading don't even seem to realise we play out from the back, inviting the press - that doesn't mean the other team is 'all over us'!

Thoroughly enjoyable but blooming cold evening….

Reading brought quite a bit of support, though we really we should play these small teams at the training ground 😂😂😂

Delighted for the U21s.
Knight looks some talent.

Re. The commentators, there was that one very weird moment at the start of the second half when one of them said they deliberately put Dancing Queen on after second half kick off as a joke. What was the joke meant to be? The other commentators moved very swiftly on without mentioning it
